Join our Board of Directors!

There has never been a better time to get involved with our organisation as we enter our 30th year of Angus Independent Advocacy (AIA) and develop our new strategic plan to ensure that “every voice matters.”
We currently have opportunities to join our Board of Directors( (Voluntary):
AIA invites applications from individuals willing to share their expertise, knowledge, and skills to advance our work and ensure best practice in Board Governance.
Prospective Board members must be committed to our collective strategic vision for the organisation: to create a more inclusive community where everyone understands and can claim their human rights.
We seek people who understand and are committed to social justice and have the skills and expertise to support our work in a governance role.
This role does not include financial remuneration, although travel expenses may be claimed as per our expense policy.
We are currently holding a mix of in-person and remote Board meetings, with the option of hybrid meetings. The Board meets every second month on a Monday evening, with subgroups as required in between.
