There is no better time to get involved with our organisation, as we approach 30 years of Angus Independent Advocacy (AIA) and continue to work towards fulfilling our new strategic plan 2023-2026 to ensure that our Angus communities are inclusive and that ‘every voice matters’. 
We currently have opportunities to join our Board of Directors( (Voluntary):

AIA invite applications from individuals who are willing to share their expertise, knowledge and skills in taking forward our work and ensuring best practice in Board Governance.
Prospective board members must be committed to our collective strategic vision for the organisation in creating a more inclusive community where every person’s voice matters.
We are looking for people who have an understanding and commitment to social justice and also have  the skills and expertise to support our work in a governance role.
This role is not accompanied by any financial remuneration, although expenses for travel may be claimed in line with our expenses policy.
We are currently holding a mix of in person and remote Board meetings, with the option of hybrid meetings. The Board meet every second month on a Monday evening, with subgroups as required in between.
